Here are the things that I had trouble with and the answers I found.

1. Set up an IMAP account not a POP, the imap is much better integrated.

2. you must select an SSL conection.

3. IMPAM (Incoming) Server is: imap.gmail.com

4. SMTP (outgoing) Server is: smtp.gmail.com

5.user name is: YOURUSERNAME@eslpal.com

6. Password is: YOURPASSWORD (the one you chose after loging in for the first time.
