What is a Wok?

I don’t know, or

it’s a Chinese

frying pan.

Either way you are wrong!

Before I tell you’re the answer let me ask you:

Who is Bugs Bunny ?

Who is Elmer Fudd ?

Think about it!

How does Elmer Fudd speak?

What is he always trying to do to that wascally wabbit?

Go to the next page to find out!

It’s somfing

you fwow at a

wabbit when

your wifle won’t

work!

This is a fun way to work on pronunciation. Just tell the joke and talk about Buggs Bunny, have students look up the meaning of WOK.

Then tell them the answer and have them all practice telling the joke.

Practice both ways of speaking it’s interesting!

Another fun thing is to mime throwing a rock, being a rabbit and shooting a broken rifle.

I wouldn’t do this with children.

It’s something

you throw at a

rabbit when

your rifle won’t

work!
